Thu 4-Wed 10
Hmmm...It's 6 A.M. and I am planning on going in to work early so I
can leave early...maybe I could take a nap when I get home...most
likely I will not. All I know is that just a month after returning from
Spain I am back to aches and pain in my legs, feeling tired and I
just want to leave work because of it...Anyway, here is my weekly
review.
*************
Thursday, I have to say that it was great waking up and reading
the comments on my entry,RETREAT AT GOLDEN SQUASH CORRAL.
for Jillsy's One Word Wednesday ~ . The word for the week was
GOLDEN. I had a blast searching for the photos, and writing it.
Thanks Jillsy, Wednesdays are so much fun now!
I am looking forward to the weekend. I am off and want to be able to
get things ready for Sandra and Alonso's return. I sure hope I can
squeeze watching a movie...During the last weeks I have fallen
asleep over and over again while watching a movie! It has taken up
to 4 days to finish watching one....
Friday...I can't remember...it's a blurr. I know I worked though...
Saturday afternoon, Maricela, called. Her husband had taken Violeta
with him to check out a job, and she was by herself with the twins.
I picked her up, and we had pizza and a movie. What a nice relaxed
evening!
Sunday, busy, busy and very excited, Sandra and Alonso, will be home
tomorrow afternoon. This time it's a day time flight...I hope Alonso
does well...
I take a good look at the house and laugh. It will be the last time it
looks this neat...lol!
Got a movie to relax, "Grown Ups" with Adam Sandler. I not only saw
it without falling asleep, I even saw all the parts that made me
laugh several times!
Monday. Talked to Pepe to see if they made it alright to the airport. He
ended up crying, when he mentioned he had to take Alonso's car seat
out. I sure know how he feels. I miss the other two over there!
Then, off to work, left at 2 P.M. to go to Hartsfield Airport.
Worried on the way over there...gasp...we just changed the time
this weekend, would it affect the time of arrival? Nah! Got there
just in time, half an hour later I see Sandra and Alonso! Yay, at first,
then very upset at what Sandra had to put up with during the flight.
That night I wrote FLYING BRATS... out of rage.
Oh, wait! I got to show you the photo of my three grandkids
together!
You see them there...sitting? Well, it took 30 photos...Although
Alberto sat calmly during the whole photo shoot, until his face
ached from smiling, the other two constantly moved. I am
sure Mr. Portillo was glad when the session was over!
Oh, how I love these kids!!!
Tuesday. Sheer morning happiness when Alonso opens my bedroom
door, puts on a big smile, does his turkey talk and climbs in bed
with me. Here we gooooooo, back to our daily routine!
Wednesday...I sure was happy to be off. Picked up Maricela in the
morning and brought her home to spend the day, I had promised
her a photo shoot for the girls and so I did...I must add, it's very
hard to take photos of twins!
Sandra went to work in the afternoon. She probably wanted to take
another flight to Spain..lol!
Oh, yes! It's Wednesday and it was time to enter my new post for
Jillsy's One Word Wednesday...the word today was "CONNECT"
and I entered CONNECT ME TO THE PAST CHICKEN.
BUT...DON'T MISS THIS FABULOUS ENTRY FROM MY FRIEND
Barbara Shallue!!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. It blew me
away...the photos...her writing! Just like me, you are going to want
to read it several times. Here it is ...go ahead and click on
