SANDRA AND ALONSO IN SPAIN.
MARICELA AND THE TWINS.
COUSINS...
It has been a long week for me...with Sandra and Alonso in Spain,
I try to do as much as I can, but I feel I don't make much progress.
I won't complain...part of not accomplishing my mega long "to do"
list has been my own choosing. After all, when Sandra and Alonso,
come back...I will go back to my regular routine, and...have less
time. But, that's O.K.
One good thing this week has been going back to writing
Food Stories. I have started a second blog within this one, where
I will only post my recipes. That will give me the "feel" of my cook
book. I have to believe this will happen. I don't know how...but,
I want to believe it will become a book.
An even better thing that has happened to me has been spending
some time with Maricela, a young Mexican mom, who has given
birth to premature twin girls. Without any family, except her husband
and her daughter Violeta. I volunteered to help her out, with the
house, the kids, anything! Oddly enough...she is the one helping me.
All she wants is conversation...a relaxed moment to share with
someone.
Amazing. I guess that's what I needed too.
And....how can I resist spending time with these tiny girls!!
Later on this week I will share what made me smile...Sandra's
photos in Spain. Beautiful! However, no photo anywhere is better than
what you are about to see. How well my grandsons, Alonso and
Gabriel, are getting along...It seems they adore each other!
Oh Boy! Was I glad I wasn't there...lol!
