It's Saturday. I am off. After a full morning of organazing, cleaning,
and shooting photos for "Food Stories", I am ready to do something
else. It's a beautiful day. My open windows are letting in a soft breeze.
I sit down on the sofa, and rest my head back on a large pillow. I close
my eyes and see...
Yes, I see myself living the happy moments I spent with my husband
in Spain. If only I could go back to Rabanal del Camino with him again.
His little home town, in the Region of Leon, captivated me.
I see myself walking the old streets with Pepe...
Admiring the work involved in these stone walls...
and finding out there was a street with his last name...Moran.
Discovering with him such rustic decor...
And....the windows I fell inlove with...
I see...and feel the relaxed atmosphere at Pepe's cousin's
pilgrimage stop...what a great place!
I could see myself happy with a business like this...away from it all.
And, how could I forget our walk to the river!
But, best of all ...I see my husband open the door to his
grandmother's century old house. It has been closed for so many
years. What a moment for him...what a moment for me...
I have to open my eyes now....Do I really have to? Can't I stay with
you Pepe?
I LOVE YOU
