The sun is still out ...bright and warm !!! How wonderful, the sunlight has
renewed my energy. Before doing what I had to do, I went outside and took some
pictures of my back yard, and my little trees. Trees that I was hoping to see full
grown one day...But, I guess I will, I am not selling my house when I move to
Spain !
Let me show you....this baby is my Chinese Dogwood....

After my backyard shoot. I finished with my e-bay sales, grabbed the envelopes,
the "new" phone, headed out the door, and drove to Winder...Only 11 miles
away. It was exhilarating to run errands without rushing out of the car to
avoid getting rained on.( Uh, umbrella ? No, I never have one.) The heavy,
black clouds have gone somewhere else...Please Lord , let them stay there for
a few days !!!
No "to do list" today! I told myself I would not stress out over a list, and so...
in order of importance I went on to solve my needs. First, the cell phone issue.
Stopped at Metro PCS, in Winder, to see if I could replace my broken cell phone
with one a co-worker gave me ... FREE !!! They didn't have a charger for that
old model, so I went down Highway 8 to Radio Shack , where I bought one
for a total of $16.41 ...YEEESSSS !!! Then back to Metro PCS, where for $10.00,
my old phone's informationwas transferred to my "new" one. Total....$26.41
WOOOOOOOO, what a deal !!!
From Highway 8, I turned onto Broad Street, and stopped at the town's new
dollar store. I loved it ...why had I not stopped there before ? I needed to buy
scotch tape before I headed next door to the Winder Post Office, but I got this
too....
(Only one dollar !!! It is now hanging on Alonso's bedroom door knob.)
From there to the Post Office, dropped off the envelopes, and headed up the
road to Community Bank. That was it .... I got it done !
Once back home, I poured myself a nice cup of coffee, and enjoyed it out on my
deck...Amazing...I had even finished the post about my Mom's torrijas in the
morning....
I did good....yes....I did good today !!!!
