Just been reading your last few posts. I'm so very sorry this moment has come and it's tough for you... I hope you will be together again in the very near future. Hugs!
It's been 21 days already? Wow, it went by fast for me - I can only imagine how it zoomed by for you. Hang in there - try to take it just one day at a time. Hugs!
And... to my Little Swiss Flag, Merce Hernandez, who I believe has read my entire blog! Merce...Thank you for always being there. You are too sweet! Someday we will meet in
Spain... :)

Rather than slump around the house, when I had Alonso I did what my blog friends suggested.
I certainly did not want to disappoint hem. So I got up and did something. It was good for him.
It was good for me. I went to a near by park with Alonso.
Here's my sweetheart! See Alonso's Mickey Mouse cap? It's his favorite!
We strolled around the park. Then I took him to the lake. He would have fun watching the ducks
and geese...
Alonso spotted a goose and got very excited!
So excited in fact...that he shared his favorite cap with the bird!
Yes, Alonso, it's bye bye time for Mickey Mouse!
I tried rescuing it, but it went too far from my reach. Some fish is wearing it now...
We kept walking around the lake following this cute couple.
I was so glad I decided not to stay in the house. It really was a day to be enjoyed!
Then off to the trail...the children's area for Alonso to have some fun...
and after admiring a beautiful sunset, Alonso and I headed back home...

As I said before this is not in order...
While Pepe was here I started collecting flags. I figured I could "capture" them as people from
other countries visited my blog. I will not ever be able to travel the world, but at least my blog
is seen in places I would have liked to visit!
So far this is what I have:
When I see the flag fromSweden, I know it's my friend Lady Fi and I smile. Check out
A couple of days ago as I was searching through photo albums, for cute photos of
Sandra, I found one that made me stop and sit down. It always brings fond
memories. It always makes me travel in time...
I could see her clearly, as she tried to memorize a poem for her school's play.
She would recite it during breakfast. She would recite it going to and coming from
school. She would recite it during her bath. She would recite it it the kitchen while
I was cooking. She would recite it during dinner. She would recite it to her
brothers that didn't want to hear it anymore...before going to bed.
We heard it so many times that we all ended up crying more than the lizards of
the poem!!
But look at her! Was she not the custest dressed up for her part? Back then she
wanted to be an actress, and this was going to be her first time in front of an
audience.
Sandra was brilliant reciting, EL LAGARTO ESTÁ LLORANDO, a children's poem by:
Federico García Lorca. ( The poem is in it's original language, Spanish, then in
English for your enjoyment).
*****
Mr. Lizard is crying.
Mr. and Mrs. Lizard in little white aprons.
Have gone and lost their wedding ring.
Ah, their little leaden wedding ring, ah, their little ring of lead!
A large sky without people carries the birds in its balloon.
The sun, rotund captain, wears a satin waistcoat.
Look how old they are! How old the lizards are!
Oh, how they cry and cry, Oh! Oh! How they go on crying!
Note: Federico Garcia Lorca, was born in Fuente Vaqueros, Granada, Spain, June 5,1898. He died near Granada, August 19,1936. He is Spain's most beloved and highly revered poet and dramatist
